Method for manufacturing a grip for luggage, characterised in that a surface of a material 1 intended to give the exterior appearance of the grip is cut out, straps 2 are sewn onto one side of the material 1, the material is folded face against face and is sewn 4 over the length in order to define a tube, the said tube is folded on itself in order to obtain a form having, in cross-section, two concentric Cs connected at their ends by folds 5 of the material with the stitching 4 located inside the inner volume thus created and the straps 2 extending diametrically outwards from the said volume between the folds 5 of the material 1. Procédé de fabrication d'une poignée pour bagages, caractérisé en ce que l'on découpe une surface d'un matériau 1 destiné à donner l'aspect extérieur de la poignée, on coud sur un côté du matériau 1 des sangles 2, on plie le matériau face contre face et on le coud 4 sur la longueur afin de définir un tube, on replie ledit tube sur lui-même afin d'obtenir une forme présentant en section deux C concentriques reliés à leurs extrémités par des pliures 5 du matériau avec la couture 4 située à l'intérieur du volume interne ainsi créé et les sangles 2 s'étendant diamétralement vers l'extérieur dudit volume entre les pliures 5 du matériau 1.
