Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To prevent the intake of water into a combustion chamber, and reduce intake noise by partitioning a duct to discharge cooling air after passing a radiator with a partition wall, parting a chamber sealed by this partition wall and a duct wall, and opening an engine intake passage. CONSTITUTION: A storing space partitioned by a partition wall 5 is provided at a front side part in an engine room 2 in which an engine 1 is contained to be sound-proofed, and cooling air after passing a radiator 4 is discharged through a duct 6 partitioned by the partition wall 5 and a duct wall 7 to the external. Fur supplying combustion air to the engine room 1, an intake duct 8 is formed through the partition wall 5, and a front part of it is opened in a sealed chamber 10 communicating with a front part of an automobile through an opening part 9 provided between a headlight 3 and the radiator 4. A drain hole 11 to discharge water flowing through the opening part 9 and freed in the room 10 in constant operation conditions is formed at a bottom part of the room 10.
