Zusammenfassung:The process consists in carrying out a heat treatment under vacuum for a period of at least 3 hours and at a temperature of the order of 1000 DEG C. This treatment makes it possible to obtain fibres surrounded by a layer of endogenic SiO2 itself coated with an endogenic carbon layer. These fibres can be employed for the production of fibre-reinforced composite materials.
