Zusammenfassung:The objects are first provided, in a two-stage, cyanide-free technique, with an auxiliary layer of zinc alloy. On this auxiliary layer there is deposited, from a nickel solution having a neutral pH, a nickel layer which forms an excellent base for the electrodeposition of solderable or other metal coatings. It is possible to deposit, as the solderable metal coating, a layer of tin-bismuth.
