Sorting device which can be used in nuclear installations

The invention relates to a device for handling and sorting various articles or objects, in particular laundry, and which can be used in nuclear installations. According to the present invention, this device consists, on the one hand, of a framework comprising means 8 for receiving the articles to be sorted, these reception means 8 supplying means 9 for storing the sorted articles; on the other hand, of an enclosure of the "glove box" type, with several faces, containing the framework, and comprising entry means 1 for the articles to be sorted, and exit means 12 for the sorted articles.
