Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates principally to a gas leaktightness device, to an electrolyser unit, to a fuel cell or to a chemical reactor comprising such a device. The gas leaktightness device according to the invention is made in an hydrophilic material 11 which is soaked with electrolyte by capillarity. The hydrophilic material 11 is for example in the form of a strip. Maintained under compression, the device according to the invention ensures leaktightness and thus prevents mixing of the gases which are released at the cathode and the anode during electrolysis.
