A process for eliminating waste on the harness of a positive jacquard loom by air having pulling elements (2) drawing back the heddles down, process by which, at the basis of each pulling element (2), some air under pressure is blowed from bottom to top and appreciably in a parallel direction with the axis of the pulling element (2), characterized by the fact that the lower part of the pulling elements (2) is confined in a coffer (6) comprising, on the upper face (5a), appartures (4a) into which pass with clearance the pulling elements (2) and an over-pressure is established in the inner volume of the coffer (6).
