This device comprises at least one second annular sealing gasket 2, coaxial with the first gasket 1 and close to the latter, situated on the side of the fluid which bathes its convex side, the respective concavities, mutually facing one another, of the two gaskets and the space between defining a cavity 3 filled with a non gaseous fluid, which is preferably incompressible. The invention applies especially to pipework for offshore oil industry installations.
