Zusammenfassung: | The flame chamber has an insulated electrode wire to monitor the ion current of the flame. The ignition cycle is stopped for a programmed period and the ion current measured. If the flame is out then the ignition cycle is repeated, and monitored again. The interruption of the high voltage ignition cycle permits noise free measurement of the ion current. This provides an accurate determination of combustion.
