Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to rail transport. The elastic wheel which is the subject of the invention is characterised in that the elastic element arranged between the hub 1 and the internal surface of the annular projection 5 of the rim 4 is produced in the shape of a silencer unit (silentblock) 14 mounted so as to be able to rotate with respect to at least one 5 and/or 1 of the parts which are associated with the wheel, whilst opposite the two ends of the silencer unit (silentblock) 14 there are ventilation orifices 3, 9 for the annular projection 2 of the hub 1 and for the pressure disc 8. The wheel concerned can be used with the greatest success on vehicles rail intended for running on the main lines.
