Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus and method is described for precision aligning and joining of individual blanks together along an overlapping portion thereof by a bonding agent. The individual blanks are conveyed along the apparatus with their lateral edges retained in grooved guides for aligning and maintaining the blanks in precise registration with one another. The grooved guides are provided with ramped transition sections which displace the overlapping edge portion of the blanks towards each other such that the blanks can be joined together by a bonding agent provided therebetween upon further contact of the overlapping portion of the blanks.
