Kitchen unit for touring coaches

The kitchen unit is situated between the rear wheel arch and an entrance door (3). The unit (1) is fitted on a jacking device (11), by which it can be raised for use or lowered into a well (9) below the vehicle floor, allowing a floor extension (6) to be replaced and seats fitted over it. Below the kitchen unit in its operating position is a battery of drink containers (12) and a rubbish disposal unit (10). Above the unit in the vehicle roof is a microwave heater (14) and a crockery cupboard (15).
