Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method of magnetohydrostatically separating pulverulent solid materials. According to the invention, the method comprises the action of a heterogeneous continuous magnetic field on the material lying in a magnetic liquid. The magnetic liquid is set into vibration with an amplitude and frequency which are sufficient to overcome the adhesion forces between the particles of the material to be treated. The invention applies to the separation of non-magnetic non-ferrous metal scrap and waste as well as to the concentration of non-ferrous metal ores.
