Zusammenfassung:	The gears (2) are intended for moving a means (3) controlling an air stream, such as a pivotable flap, especially in ventilating, heating and air-conditioning systems of motor vehicles. The gears (2) have gear parts (18,28), mounted by axle journals (13,22), with meshing teeth (19,29). The axle journals (13,22) are mounted with radial play (31,32) in mounting bores (16,25). An elastic tensioning device (33) constructed as a leg spring is arranged so that it presses the gear parts (18,28) together, as a result of which their teeth mesh without play. In this way a rotary motion of the gear part (18) produced by a lever (7) is transmitted without play to the gear part (28) and the means (3) to be moved, which for its part is connected without play to the gear part (28). Flap noise due to the means (3) are avoided because of the engagement of the teeth (19,29) without play. This also ensures a long, trouble-free operating time of the ventilating, heating or air-conditioning system and improves the comfort of a motor vehicle into which the system is built.
