Device for synchronising an intercontinental navigation system with an automatic pilot system

The present invention relates to a device which can find applications in heavy aircraft, for synchronising an intercontinental navigation system with an automatic pilot system, which makes automatic guiding of the aircraft possible by means of the automatic pilot system by using the signals originating from the navigation system. The device comprises a logic block, a control panel, a resolution block, and a display panel. The advantages of the invention are that the distance covered is kept short, the fuel consumption is reduced, the workload on the crew is reduced, all these factors having a favourable influence on flight safety.
