Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a throttling arrangement for reducing the pressure of fluids at high pressure to substantially atmospheric pressure. The arrangement comprises a source 11' of high-pressure fluid, a pipe enclosing a remotely actuated and hydraulically controlled valve flap 12', the said pipe opening into a device 13' intended to split the pressurised fluid into two generally equal streams which flow into separate pipes 14', each of which directing streams towards a pressure-control device designed for delivering jets towards a common point disposed in a tank 16' where the fluid is collected at atmospheric pressure.
