Zusammenfassung: | A weldable, corrosion-resistant copper/nickel alloy having good hot workability and high tensile strength is composed of 4 to 22% nickel, up to 3% manganese, up to 3% iron, up to 0.3% silicon, up to 4% chromium, 0.005 to 0.2% carbon and 0.1 to 4% of at least one of the elements titanium, vanadium, zirconium, niobium, tantalum or hafnium, the remainder, including unavoidable impurities, being copper. This corrosion-resistant alloy is remarkable for an improved weldability and hot workability, and also a weld additive which is suitable for this purpose.
