Brake for snow ski - has braking arm on each side of ski with top of arms sliding on sprung transverse bar

The ski brake has two braking arms (3) fitted symmetrical to the longitudinal median plane of the ski (S). Each arm is bent to form a lower part (4), holding the brake (5), an intermediate part (6), that pivots in an inclined transversal bearing, and a top section (7). The extremities of the top section slide on a transverse bar (9) joined to a spring in a cylinder (10) whose other extremity is joined to the ski. The extremities of the top part and the bar fit into curved connectors (8) that have holes (8a) in which the bar can slide.
