Zusammenfassung: | Chassis for wheelchairs with two side frames on which the front and rear wheels are rotatable and the front or rear wheels are at the same time mounted so as to be steerable. For achievement of a driving behaviour corresponding to the driving behaviour of a chassis with single-wheel suspension, the invention proposes that the two side frames (1, 2) be connected to one another by at least three connecting rods (3, 3', 5), two of which (3, 3') are arranged crosswise, in such a manner that they are each only movable relative to one another approximately in their planes, the connecting rods each being connected to the side frames in such a way that at least one of the connecting rods lies in a plane other than the remaining rods. A resilient relative movement between the two lateral frames (1, 2) is achieved by the intrinsic elasticity of the connecting rods (3, 3', 5) and/or a resilient mounting of the connecting rods on the side frames (1, 2).
