Multilayer material for drawing and graphic works - comprise ethylene! terephthalate support, paper layer, acrylate! copolymer adhesive layer and anti-adhesive layer

A multilayer material comprising a transparent polyethylene terephthalate support and a front layer of simili-paper (synthetic paper) is improved by also contg. an adhesive layer applied onto the reverse side of the support and an antiadhesive paper placed on the adhesive layer. The proportions in wt.% of the various layers are as follows 3-6% simili-paper layer, 24-28% PET support, 4-5% adhesive layer and balance antiadhesive paper. The adhesive is prepd. from either a 30-50% aq. dispersion of vinyl acetate/butyl acrylate/acrylic acid copolymer having monomer ratio 15/84/1 to 49/49/2, or from a mixt. of the above copolymer dispersion and a 30-50% aq. dispersion of a butyl acrylate/vinylbutyl copolymer having monomer ratio 4/1-4/2; the mixt. comprising 50-80wt.% of the first dispersion and balance the second dispersion. The material is used for the prodn. of drawing elements for various uses e.g. industrial drawings and graphic works. It allows a 15-20% increase in productivity of draftsman's works, a redn. in duration of projects studies and a marked improvement in projects quality. The material can be used several times, has high physico-mechanical properties, is transparent to visible and UV light and is dimensionally stable to changes of temp. and moisture.
