Knitted under-garment - contains rows of combined synthetic and regenerated cellulose yarns

A knitted undergarment, such as tights or a pantie-girdle, is knitted by inserting rows into the fabric (at least one row in every two) of combined yarns of a synthetic filament and a yarn spun from regenerated cellulose fibres of the 'Modal' type, having a moisture retention higher than 80%, and a crimp resulting from a dissymmetry in the fibre cross-section. The combined yarns offer comfort in wear, even in intimate contact with the skin, whilst still retaining lightness, transparancy and fit.
