Electronic ergometer for test object - determines work content from evaluation of output of seismic sensor attached to object

An electronic ergometer measures the work performed by a person under test and can be used for medical research, sport etc. It enables several physiological parameters to be evaluated and the assosicated data to be stored. A seismic transducer converts oscillations of the person's centre of gravity into electrical signals which are fed to a pulse shaper which controls the frequency regulation circuit of a high frequency multivbrator. The multivibrator output feeds the count input of a frequency divider whose output is connected to the count input of a multiple location counter. The divider output also feeds a second counter whose first set input is controlled by a null point circuit. A controlled clock drives the second set input and the control input of the second counter which drives the display unit changeover switch.
