Zusammenfassung:The refrigerator includes a heat exchanger comprising a double tube. The substances used may be ammonia as the refrigerant, and water as an absorbing agent. The weak solution circulates in the inner tube while the rich solution circulates as a counter current in the space between the inner and outer tubes. At the output from the exchanger, the tubes separate. Each is attached via an elbow to a vertical tube, the tube carrying the rich solution. This tube is surrounded by either an electrical heater, or a burner, encouraging a thermo-syphon effect. The top of this tube is connected via an elbow joint to a chamber communicating with the base of the condenser. The base of this chamber is connected to the pipe carrying the weak solution of ammonia.
