Zusammenfassung:A circuit arrangement for transmitting pulse-shaped binary signals via a line between a driver stage and a receiver stage is described which avoids saturation problems in a decoupling transformer at the input of the receiver stage when it is intended to transmit a relatively long sequence of pulses having the same binary value. For this purpose, the pulses on the driver stage are only transmitted, for example by means of a gate element (DR), during a part of their original period with high potential value whereas in the remaining time a low voltage value is transmitted so that a polarity change occurs with each pulse. In the receiver stage, the secondary winding of the transformer (TI) is connected to a circuit (RE) for recovering the energy of the negative signal components by correspondingly increasing the potential of the secondary winding.
