Zusammenfassung:	The soil cultivation tool comprises a working portion with a taper socket accommodating the tapering handle end. The end (9) of the handle is covered by a sheath (12) of relatively flexible and elastic material e.g. rubber. The latter can be impervious, and screwed or moulded onto the tapering portion of the handle (7). The rubber sheath is compressed into the taper socket of the working portion. This prevents the handle from working free under the effect of wood shrinkage.
