Zusammenfassung:The two-way pneumatic control valve regulates the airflow between a supply duct (5) to the brake line (6) or connects the brake line to the venting line (7). The valve elements (12,13) are arranged so that there is no overlap in valve action, leading to loss of air. The elements are sprung discs mounted on a control shaft (11) at a smaller spacing than that between the valve seats (8,9). The discs can be clad in an elastic coating for improved seal and quiet operation. The valve seats can be reinforced by profiled inserts, or can be turned in the sides of the valve bore.
