Zusammenfassung:Non-silver light-sensitive compsns. are comprised of (by wt.) 1-10% of a hydroxy deriv. of naphthalene (I); 29-60% of a satd. aromatic amine (II); 35-29% of a halogenated hydrocarbon (III); and 35-1% of a polymeric binder. (I) is e.g. alpha-naphthol, beta-naphthol, 1-naphtholphthalein, aminonaphthol or dihydroxynaphthalene. (II) is e.g. diphenylbenzylamine, 1-naphthylamine, indole or dibenzylaniline. (III) is e.g. carbon tetrabromide or iodoform. (IV) is e.g. polystyrene, PMMA, polyvinyl acetate or PVC. The compsns. are silver-free and have high sensitivity and resolution. They can be applied from solvent solns. to substrates such as paper, glass, porcelain, metal, ceramics, plastics, etc. By choice of the components, multicolour images can be obtd., e.g. blue with diphenylbenzylamide, red with indole, yellow with dibenzylaniline and brown with 1-naphthylamine.
