COMPOSES STYRYLIQUES, LEUR PREPARATION ET LEUR UTILISATION COMME COLORANTS

Styryl compounds represented by the following general formula (I): (I) wherein X1 is a halogen atom or a lower alkyl or lower alkoxy group, X2, Y1 and Y2 are each a hydrogen or halogen atom or a lower alkyl or lower alkoxy group, R1 and R3 are each an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, and R2 is a straight or branched C3-C10 alkylene group or an alicyclic hydrocarbon-containing alkylene group, a process for producing them, a process for dyeing and printing hydrophobic fibers by their use and a process for coloring synthetic resins by their use. According to said processes a clear yellow color of high fastness can be given to the fibers and synthetic resins.
