Gripper loom weft location - with motor control block and micro-switches to inch loom for opening to locate broken weft

In the mechanism to locate a broken weft in a gripper loom, there is a stud which moves axially on the weft box. In front of the stud there is a micro-switch and a pivoting spring, connected by a control block with the geared motor. The motor supports spaced cam at one end of a two-armed lever close to a micro-switch. This switch is linked through the control block with the coupling to drive the mechanism to form the opening. System frees the operative from inching the loom to look for the broken weft, and increases the servicing front of the loom as maintenance time is reduced. It can be mounted to other looms, in a simple and cheap construction.
