Zusammenfassung:Quinazoline derivs. of formula (I) and their acid addition salts are new: (where X is CH2, CHOH or CO. R2 = furyl or tetrahydrofuryl). (I) are made by reacting the corresp. 2-haloquinazoline with a 4-XR2-substd. piperidine. (I) are antihypertensives useful in human and veterinary medicine. Their intraperitoneal LD50 is 10-300 mg/kg (rat) and they are highly soluble in water so can be administered parenterally.
