Zusammenfassung: | The precision pendulum for measuring moments of inertia and centres of gravity consists of a support platform with centring device on which the item under tests rests. The platform can be rotated on roller bearings via a remote-controlled stepping motor. The bearing is supported on a knife-edge bearing onto a cross beam. Arms projecting from the knife-edge assembly support a stabilizing weight. The weight has a vertical extension in the form of a bar which supports a sliding, auxiliary weight whose vertical position on the bar may be adjusted. After rotating the test item to its desired position via the motor, so that the pendulum is balanced, the system is set in oscillation. The period of oscillation of the pendulum is then measured for two different positions of the auxiliary weight.
L'invention permet de mesurer la hauteur du centre de gravité d'un spécimen quelconque ainsi que ses moments d'inertie par rapport à des axes perpendiculaires à une direction donnée, sans avoir à manipuler le spécimen. Celui-ci, figuré en 5 sur le plateau 1 monté sur roulements 2, peut être orienté par le moteur 19. La mesure des périodes d'oscillation, lorsque la masse 14 est à la distance z puis z + DELTA z de l'axe d'oscillation, permet de déterminer l'inertie par rapport à cet axe connaissant la variation DELTA I = m(2z + DELTA z) DELTA z. L'invention s'applique notamment aux mesures précises d'inertie de spécimen de manipulation délicate. |
