Organ prosthesis mrr. from preform - with application of gel-forming sol and curable flexible material

Organ prosthesis, e.g. urethra, ureter, bladder, heart or vessel, is mfd. by depositing on a preform by spraying, thin-film coating, varnishing, lacquering etc. a soln. which on cooling forms a gel with a liquid-gaseous surface at the gel-air interface. A curable flexible material e.g. a silicone elastomer which is compatible with body fluids and tissues is then applied by spraying, flowing, etc. to the resulting pattern, and after curing the prosthesis is removed from the mould. Pref. the heated preform is made of wear-resistant material e.g. metal, glass or plastic with a clean fairly smooth surface, and after curing the gel is removed by reheating, rinsing and dissolving, after which the preform is simply withdrawn from the prosthesis. On part d'un support préformé sur lequel est déposé un sol qui donne un gel par refroidissement, et sur lequel on dépose un matériau soupe durcissable, après durcissement duquel la prothèse obtenue est démoulée.
