Fire engine extinguishing agent cistern - has vertical cylindrical well to house swivelling column of hoist

The fire engine (1) carries immediately above the rear axles cistern (3) for the extinguishing agent. Halfway of its length the cistern is fitted with a vertical cylindrical well (4) the shell of the cylinder is flush with the top and bottom walls of the cistern, and welded to them. The top part of the well ahs a sturdy lid (5) serving as a base for the turntable for the swivelling mechanism (10) of the hoist. The lid also carries the cantilevered arms (9) for the first section of the jib (11). Both face ends of the cistern have welded-on cantilever beams (7) on the extended ends of which adjustable prop legs are fitted.
