Zusammenfassung: | The high-density frictionless terminal, for contacting a printed circuit board edge contact pads, consists of a lower piece (1) containing spring contacts (8) and an upper piece (2) pivoted to the lower piece. Both pieces extend along the edge of the board (4). The upper piece has spaced parallel webs (7) whose curved edges deform the spring contacts so that they move up and touch the underside pads of the board when the upper piece is pivoted down to close over the top surface of the board. The board is held between the two pieces andits edge butts against steps set into the edges of plane parallel webs (12) on the lower piece. The spring contacts lie between these webs. |
