Zusammenfassung: | The felt bearing pads for domestic bath tubs insulate the appliance against the propagation of the noise of cascading water. The pads can have a density from 200 to 400 kg/m3 and a thickness of between 1-5 and 15 mm. Different pad arrangements may be deployed for different types of tub supports. The pads may have a density of 250 to 300 kg/m3 and a thickness of 4 to 5 mm. Baths with several individual feet transmitting load to the floor may have a pad between the head of each foot and the tub. Baths supported on cradles may have pad strips on each longitudinal cradle edge and between the cradle and the tub. For baths supported on ring beams a continuous pad may be provided between the head of the ring beam and the tub. |
