Zusammenfassung: | An automatic process for the manufacture of ferrite core memory matrices avoids the need for soldered connections. The ferrite core discs are stacked in groups of four and a single wire (3) carries the recessing voltage for all matrix locations. Matrix address wires (8) are looped in and out of the ferrite cores depending upon the matrix size. The manufacturing process uses a rotating wheel (28) with radiused profiles around the periphery (27) corresponding to the size of the ferrite discs. The discs are fed into the unit on the bias voltage wire (3) and groups of four are directed onto the wheel and retained there by a guide rail (30). Cross wires (8) are fed in and out at predetermined locations. |
