Zusammenfassung: | The heat pump is contained in a rectangular casing (1). Air exhausted from the space being heated enters the casing through an opening (4) in the horizontal base. The refrigerant condenser (10) is a coiled pipe immediately above this opening and coaxial with it, so that the air flows up the inside of the coil as it enters the casing. The compressor assembly (9) is place over the entry hole (4) within the coil so that it is cooled by the flow of entering air. The refrigerant evaporator (7) is a heat exchanger block placed obliquely across one corner of the casing. The vitiated air leaves through openings (5a, 5b) in the casing side behind this block. This layout reduces air leakage. |
