Zusammenfassung: | A marine life saving device consists of a line (1) with a set of inflatable bags or bladders (2) attached and with a seat anchor attached to one end. The other end can be attached to a light craft which can encircle the people in the sea so that the line can in turn encircle them, using smaller loops. The whole unit can be enclosed in a compact container ready for use, and a compressed gas bottle (9) employed to inflate the bladders and eject them from one end. The case has a flexible apron (20) to guide the bladders as they are ejected. The bladders are fitted with deflection valves, and can carry smoke signals activated on contact with water. |
