Zusammenfassung: | Al is degreased, either (1) switched as cathode, by DC electrolysis, in diluted aq. H2SO4 soln. or (2) by treatment with an aq. soln. of a synthetic washing agent or detergent. The degreased Al, switched as anode, is etched by DC electrolysis in an aq. chloride soln. having a Cl ion concn. =1 (0.1-1) wt.%, at bath temp. >=20 (30-90) degrees C and >=7 (7-60). Coulomb/cm2. The etched Al is coated with a fluorocarbon resin dispersion, dried and baked. Al surface is uniformly provided with fine etching "troughs", giving a fluorocarbon coating which is adherent, dense, free from shrink holes and cracks. |
