Zusammenfassung: | Alumina-aluminium phosphate catalyst support made by hydrolysis of aluminium alkoxide with a phosphorous contg. acid (or soluble salt) in aq. system with molar ratio alkoxide to phosphate ion of 26:1 to 1.2:1 (5.4:1 to 2.4:1) the acid having formula R(O)P(OH)2 (where R = H, hydroxyl, 1-12C hydrocarbon). Pref. acids are phosphoric and/or phosphorous. Finished support contains 35-85 (50-75)% wt. aluminium phosphate. Support is stable, is readily formed by conventional methods and is esp. suitable for use in catalysts for hydrocarbon conversion processes. |
