Zusammenfassung: | A briquetting device which utilizes the impulse energy of detonation includes an explosion chamber provided within a housing having a piston and a finder assembly. The housing is movably mounted on a bed plate adjacent an anvil with a container arranged intermediate of the housing and anvil. A die is positioned intermediate of the anvil and container and integral with the latter. Rods provided within the anvil are connected rigidly to the die to move the die towards the housing after briquetting and so cause pushing out of the briquette by a plunger attached to the piston rod in the housing. Used for briquetting of steel turnings, titanium-base alloy turnings, concentrates and refractories. Briquetting can be performed in a vacuum or inert atmosphere. The device has an increased output since it enables auxiliary operations associated with setting of the device to be carried out simultaneously. The die design permits the briquetting of fine, disperse loose materials. |
