Zusammenfassung:	An organic polymer latex insoluble in water, contains a cationic surfactant of dodecylbenzyltetra-methyl-isothiouronium chloride contg. isothiouronium gp. having a general formula: (where R2 and R5 are 1-4C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl; and R3 and R4 have the same significance with R2 and R5, otherwise, R3 combined with R4 may express one divalent group having 2 or 3 carbon atoms and Z- is an aq. soluble anion) as a stabiliser to colloidal particles which is dispersed in a polymer having colloidal state; and the colloidal particles have a granular dia. of 500-10,000 A and the particles in the dry state are electrically non-electro-conductive; and has a pH number of 2-12. The organic polymer latex is used as a sizing agent to reinforce mechanical strength of paper or a coating agent to give anti-shrinkage nature to wool texture.
