Zusammenfassung: | The shoe upper (1) and already turned-in edge (2) is placed on a lining (3) and fed through the sewing machine (4) and stitched together where the closing seam (5) runs along the deflected edge (2). The protruding waste lining material (3) is cut off during machining by means of the cutting edge of a movable part (6) of the trimming blade which moves to and from the lining. The lining (3) is hereby cut off at an obtuse angle, preferably 97 deg. relative to the plane of the upper A beneath the deflected edge (2) so that the cut edge (7) of the lining (3) lies inclined relative to the upper and the deflected edge protrudes beyond the cut edge (7). The trimming mechanism has an immovable part (8) which interacts with the cutting edge of the movable part to ensure a clean sharp cut. |
