[Also in Division H2] An electrical connector body which includes a plurality of parallel bores for housing respective contacts is formed by injecting insulating material into a cavity 60 in a two-piece mould 55- 57, Fig. 8, through an opening 58, a parallel array of core pins 62, corresponding to the desired array of bores in the connector body, being held in the cavity 60. Each core pin 62, Fig. 9, comprises plug and socket parts 62, 64 fitted together so that faces 511 are in abutting engagement. Channels 72 and cavities 401 in the assembled core pins cause the formation of longitudinal ribs (47, Fig. 7, not shown) at one end of each bore, and spaced bosses (41) intermediate the ends of each bore.
