(A) 67-85 wt.% aq. soln. of a 25-35 mol.% PhOH/65-76 mol.% HCHO/0-2 mol.% phenol deriv. condensn. resin, the soln. having 40-55 wt.% solids content and a viscosity of 0.5-5 Pa.s (20 degrees C; 48 wt.% solids) and contg. 0.8-1.5 mol equiv. (based on PhOH and phenol deriv.) of an alkali hydroxide; and (B) 5-33 wt.% urea as aq. soln. or solid.
