Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A vehicle hood with a hinge having at least one first hinge arm (16), of which one end is connected in an articulated manner to the vehicle body (10) and the other end of which is connected in an articulated manner to the vehicle hood (14), is described. The device is intended to allow the use of a manually actuable opening mechanism and of an automatic closing device (12), cooperating with the opening mechanism, at the other end of the vehicle hood (14) in relation to the hinge. For this purpose, there is provided a change-over device (32) which engages on the first hinge arm (16) and by means of which the first hinge arm (16) can pivot into the opening and the closing position. A force accumulator (42) engages on the first hinge arm (16) or the change-over device (32) and prestresses the first hinge arm (16) into the opening or the closing position depending on whether the latter goes beyond or falls short of a neutral position. Preferably, the change-over device (32) is mounted pivotably at the point of articulation (24) of the first hinge arm (16) located on the vehicle body and contains stops (34, 36), arranged on both sides of the first hinge arm (16) and cooperating with this, for the pivoting of the first hinge arm (16). There engages at a point of the change-over device (32) located at a distance from the point of articulation (24) a compression spring, preferably a pneumatic spring (42), the direction of force of which intersects the point of articulation (24) in the neutral position.
