The invention concerns equipment for heating and cooling of room space, which comprises devices for the transmission of heating and cooling energy to the room atmosphere. In order to reduce maintenance costs and bring about effective heat transmission, the apparatus for transmission of heating and cooling energy incorporates a heat transmitter 1-4 in the form of a plate with an essentially flat surface, fitted with a device 6,7 for supplying both heating and cooling energy. Connected also to the said heat transmitter there is at least one air distributor 5 arranged to blow air parallel and close to the plane of the heat transmitter 1-4.
