Zusammenfassung:A membrane element (1) for extracting super-pure hydrogen comprises hydrogen-permeable membranes (2) of an alloy based on palladium, an outlet tube (4) for letting out the hydrogen, and a drainage support (1a). A part of the outlet tube (4) is located between the membranes (2) near one of their edges (3), essentially along the whole length of the drainage support (1a) and is embraced, from outside, by that support (1a), so as to form, at a certain distance from the tube (4), a thickened section (6). A membrane apparatus comprises a casing (9) with a tube wall (14) and a sleeve (15) mounted under the latter and provided with perforated walls (16). In the sleeve (15) are located a collector (20) passing through the bottom of the latter and intended for the spent gaseous mixture and said membrane elements (1), each of them being directed inside the sleeve (15) by its edge (21) opposite to the outlet tube (4).
