Zusammenfassung:	Method and device for production of matte and/or metal from sulphide fine-grained ore or ore concentrate. The ore or ore concentrate is smelted in a combustion chamber in such a way that at least part of the solid material in the combustion chamber melts and flows down to a case- hardening furnace on which the combustion chamber is arranged. Volatile metal and sulphur components are conveyed upwards from the combustion chamber as fluidization gases to a fluidized-bed reactor, with the gases being more rapidly cooled in the fluidized bed.
