Zusammenfassung:	Improved conversion of paraffin and higher yield of desired dehydrogenated product are obtained in the dehydrogenation of C3 to C5 paraffins over a chromia-alumina catalyst, when using a catalyst prepared by spraying the alumina carrier with a soluble chromium compound to incipient wetness, instead of conventionally soaking the alumina carrier with excess chromium solution. The method is of particular use in conversion of isobutane to isobutylene.
